Anna Sell is a senior lecturer in informatics at the Faculty of Technology. She is an experienced supervisor and has taught courses at all levels in areas such as information systems management, project management, information systems theories, research methodology, and academic skills. She has a strong interest in higher education pedagogy and is actively involved in program, curriculum, and course development.

Anna holds a D.Sc. (BA) from Åbo Akademi University, where she has also held several academic service roles in faculty and university-level councils, committees, and working groups, and contributed to efforts that led to a successful AACSB accreditation. At LNU, she has recently been appointed Program Director for the bachelor’s program Digital verksamhetsutveckling (Digital Business Development).

Her research focuses on information systems in organizations and everyday life, covering topics such as sustainability data management; technology attitudes, acceptance, and use; wellness-supporting technology; technology segmentation; and age-related aspects of technology use.

She serves as a mini-track chair at the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS) and as a reviewer for journals and conferences, including the European Journal of Information Systems, Telematics & Informatics, Mobile Media & Communication, European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS), and International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS).
