My phd research project is set out to explore the intersection between religious education and sexuality education in Swedish upper secondary schools. Specifically, I investigate the construction of religion within the field formally known as Sexualitet, samtycke och relationer.

My academic interests are broad and center on religion as a phenomenon, particularly its role and expression in contemporary Swedish society. Theoretically, my work is grounded in phenomenology, hermeneutics, and critical theory.

With a background in media studies, I have produced two documentary feature films exploring the history of the Free Church movement and the return of religion in a post-Christian Sweden. I have also authored a monograph on power-critical theology, which serves as a critique of the politicization of religion as an argument of political theology.
